Tues. 5/17 - Paris through lunch

From Charles de Gaul Airport we made our way by bus (we have the same bus and driver for nearly the entire pilgrimage!) to Paris to start the day with 11:30am Mass at the Crypt Church at Sacre Coeur at Mont Martre.  It was in this crypt that St. Therese consecrated herself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus at the age of 14.  Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration has been continuously held at Sacre Coeur for the past 120 or so years, without a day ever being missed.    After Mass we had some free time for lunch and a quick stop by St. Pierre de Montmarte where St. Ignatius, St. Francis Xavier and other Jesuits made their vows.
